Dolina Chocholowska

The Dolina Chocholowska, the biggest of the valleys in the Polish Western Tatras, extends almost up to the domed, grassy summits of the main ridge. It is largely wooded, especialy in the lower sections, and has the melancholy charm which is a particular feature of the Western Tatras. In its upper part it divides into two branches: the southern one, known as the Dolina Starorobocianska, and the south-west one, which has the Chocholowska Polana, the biggest of the Tatra Mountains meadows.
